Original black cloth, spine and covers lettered in white, without dust-jacket as issued, original cardboard slipcase, printed paper label on spine overlapping onto covers (lettering slightly dulled, wear to slipcase). First Japanese edition - the rarest of the various issues of Elsken's masterpiece, 'a sprawling, exuberant cornucopia'; Sweet Life, with Frank's The Americans, defined the photographic odyssey genre (The Photobook). The Photobook, pp.254-55.
