TWO MEISSEN TEACUPS AND SAUCERS
Circa 1750, blue crossed swords marks, Pressnummer 17 to both cups and one saucer, 64 to the other saucer
Each piece painted in the style of Watteau with a single female figure in a landscape vignette within a cartouche of pierced trellis, foliate scrolls issuing flower sprays and other rocaille decoration, an iron-red and yellow scroll at the lower right side of the cartouche, a large blue flower growing from a mound of earth with roots at the left, gilt line rims
