The molded and canted rectangular red and yellow marble top above the hatched frieze with pierced foliate apron centered by a grotesque mask, the angles with C-scrolled legs headed by masks and joining a scallop-shell stretcher with acorn feet, the front-rail inscribed in black ink 'No 4', regilt, the marble top possibly brocatelle de Jura and original, later back-rail
