Each square padded seat covered in 18th Century purple, blue and silver thread silk damask, above a seatrail carved with berried laurel over a ribbon-twist edge, on spiral-turned tapering legs headed by flowerheads, with a pierced apron to one side, on foliate-carved ball feet, inscribed with partially effaced chalk numbers to underside, previously with further apron carving to the sides
