Lot Essay

The mark AA was previously thought to be that of A. Astreyden. However, Skurlov lists the mark as that of Andrei Adler alongside Fabergé's various workmaster's, (V.Skurlov, Fabergé and Petersburg Jewellery, St. Petersburg, 1997, p.111).

More from Jewellery and Faberge, from the Collection of H.R.H The Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowdon
