Wares decorated in this lack of outline style, known as 'boneless' technique is effective in rendering semi-naturalistic and identifiable flowers. Compare the bowl included in the Exhibition of Ch'ing Porcelain from the Wah Kwong Collection, Chinese University of Hong Kong, 1973, and illustrated in the Catalogue, no. 103.
