A FINE AND RARE CLOISONNE ENAMEL TRIPOD CENSER
QIANLONG FOUR-CHARACTER INCISED MARK IN A LINE AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795)
The bombé-shaped body enamelled in bright colours against a rich turquoise ground, with four lotus blooms borne on an undulating scroll bearing leaves, curly tendrils and smaller flowers, extending to the base of the vessel surrounding the square gilt-bronze square plaque bearing the reign mark and the addition of the character yong, 'use', all raised on three cabriole legs with floral scrolls emerging from a ruyi collar, the flaring mouth rim and pair of upright loop handles decorated with detached floral sprays
