AN ENGLISH DELFT BOWL AND DISH
Circa 1730-1750, probably Liverpool
Both the interior and exterior of the bowl decorated with trailing sprays of hatched manganese flowers with blue stylized leaves, the interior rim border a blue band with wavy decoration, 12in. (30.5cm.) diam.; the dish with three Chinamen, the left figure bowing and pointing towards two exotic birds, the central figure holding a large frond, a tree at the right, 8.5/8in. (21.9cm.) diam.; together with two white delft porringers, circa 1680, possibly London or Dutch, the white glaze with a slightly pink cast, 7in. (19cm.) wide, overall (4)
