A PAIR OF WORCESTER (BARR, FLIGHT, & BARR) CUSTARD-GROUND POT-POURRI VASES AND COVERS
Circa 1810, iron-red script London showroom marks
Each of campana form with snake handles rising from goat-mask terminals, the cover pierced with lozenges and circles and with a winged sphinx finial, the front painted with peasant children in landscapes within a gilt band, the back gilt with a band of acanthus above the custard ground, the gilt circular foot and square base reserved with foliate scrolls
