A pen and ink version of this drawing, traditionally attributed to Camillo Procaccini, is in the Uffizi and has been attributed to Turchi by Mario di Giampaolo, A. Petrioli Tofani, Inventario 2., Disegni esposti, Florence, 1987, no. 1385E, illustrated. The attribution of the Uffizi drawing was first suggested by Ursula Verena Fisher Pace.
