Full-page woodcut (Schreiber 4104) repeated 3 times, with somewhat later light colouring and gold highlights. (Title on guard, some worming, light browning, occasional light staining.) Vol. I: contemporary Augsburg binding of sheep over wooden boards, panelled in blind with trellis rolls [Schunke-Schwenke Ranke 186 = Augsburg Blattwerk-Ornament], remains of two fore-edge clasps, printed leaf as front paste-down (somewhat worn); vol. II: German half blindtooled pigskin over wooden boards, two fore-edge clasps, title lettered on fore-edges (clasps renewed, leather torn at edge). Provenance: Dr. Johannes ?Murgittius (contemporary inscription in vol. I) -- [17th-century inscriptions deleted].
