Full-page engraved illustration, engraved headpiece by Tommaso Piroli after Agostino Rosi, woodcut headpiece and initial borders. (A few leaves with light spotting, marking or dampstaining.) Early 19th-century half straight-grained red morocco over marbled boards [endpapers watermarked 1816], flat spine gilt in compartments, titled in one, others with quatrefoil designs, marbled edges (lightly rubbed).
