The Misfits, 1961/Marilyn Monroe
A collection of 44 contact prints on four sheets, the photographs taken for hair and wardrobe purposes for Marilyn Monroe's role as Roslyn Taber in the 1961 United Artists film The Misfits, the various shots include full-length portraits of Monroe wearing various costumes worn in the film or head and shoulders portraits with Monroe wearing her hair up with the net hairpiece worn in the opening scenes of the film, with her hair down or in plaits, one sheet also with an image of a clapperboard marked Hair Style No 4, each sheet -- 10x8in. (25.4x20.3cm.) (4)
