Continental Card Deck, circa 1870, Philadelphia, Continental Card Co., 52 of 52 cards plus one blank. Double-ended courts, no indices, square corners. Ace of spades is printed in black and blue reads, "Continental Card Co., Philadelphia." A previous owner wrote in small letters the number value of each card in the upper right and lower left corners which also indicates the owner was likely a left handed card player. Backs are tooled and hammered scroll work in red. Dawson, 17, U18c.
