50 cards consisting of 24 fine hand-colored copper engraved cards depicting 12 male and 12 female street vendors offering a variety of goods like vegetables, fruits, cheeses, cakes, fish, eggs, umbrellas, and flowers, 24 text cards with small rhymes that correspond to the picture cards, a "Carte blanche" card and a "Le Commissaire" card, which features a judge declaring "Peace, peace" and serves to stop the game. Fourteen text cards are additionally adorned with charming hand-drawn ink and watercolor images corresponding to the theme of the card.
