English or American, circa 1795
The gilded swan's-neck pediment terminating in carved rosettes issuing foliate-carved devices and centering a carved giltwood spreadwinged eagle above a tympanum centering an applied gilded and oval frame flanked by applied foliate-carved embellishments all over a rectangular molded frame with gilded surrounds enclosing a glass plate flanked by scroll-carved ears and gilt foliate and pendant-carved fruit over a shaped pendant base
