Devotional in book form, opening with a genealogy of Christ on vellum mounted on the pastedown, illuminated in colors; 2 leaves text on vellum with two small drawings (a lamp and dove); sunken panel with oil portrait of Christ; another sunken panel on verso with portrait of Mary with child; a sunken panel with carved bone figure of Christ on the Cross and Mary; on verso a sunken panel of embroidered, printed and carved relics; 2 leaves manuscript on vellum with a full-page miniature of the Last Supper; the rear pastedown with a painting of Christ with angel. Black morocco gilt (some drying and cracking). Provenance: purchased from Emil Offenbacher, 28 August 1959.

AN ELABORATE AND WELL-EXECUTED DEVOTIONAL, opening at the center to form a private altar.
