Contemporary silver-mounted tortoise-shell, covers with hand-colored engraving of flowers mounted at center, wide pierced silver border, the spine en-suite, silver clasps and catches, white silk linings, edges gilt. Provenance: purchased from Emil Offenbacher, 1960.
