The pierced brass keyhole frame having five pillars, star-pierced great wheel with spring barrel, wheel train with five crossings terminating with the escapement with tourbillon-type cage rotating once every minute, pin-anchor escapement with rack and pinion, the strike on a bell above the plates with separate spring barrel and large countwheel planted on the backplate signed William Renda Ingénieur à Paris 1952, the silvered chapter ring with blue and white enamel chapters with blued steel hour, minute and sweep seconds hands, on a circular ebonised wood base with glass dome
