A French brass, patinated bronze and red griotte marble industrial timepiece in the form of a steam-powered wheel engine

The case formed of two brickwork ovens with latched doors beneath the steam boilers set on one side with a clock dial with Roman chapters and blued steel hand, the opposing boiler set with an aneroid barometer, the centre dial set with a thermometer engraved Centigrade/Reamur, the automaton wheel with dumbell governor and piston driven by a going barrel movement within the boiler casing and wound from the right side
