A 19th-Century lacquered-brass Ross-type compound monocular microscope,
unsigned, with rack and pinion and micrometer focusing, the mechanical stage with aperture disc and plano-concave substage mirror, tilting between two shaped uprights over a Y-shaped foot and mahogany base, with table-standing bull's-eye condensor, three eyepieces, three objectives in brass canisters, a prism lenses in brass canister, two lieberkuhns, parabolic condensor, livebox, rotating selenite stage, three selenite discs, stage forceps, some glass slides and other items, in a fitted mahogany case -- 49cm.
