A 20th-Century Austrian black-enamelled binocular microscope,
stamped REICHERT WIEN Nr. 2702 Tubusvergr. 15x, with micrometer screw to the eyepieces, rack and pinion and micrometer focusing to the body-tube, triple nosepiece, mechanical stage, substage condensor with diaphragm and rack and pinion adjustment, and plano-concave mirror, tilting over a V-shaped foot, with four eyepieces, two objectives and a monocular tube from another instrument, in a wooden case -- 43cm. (16 7/8in.) high
