signed on the 26in. long body-tube Berge London late Ramsden, with rack and pinion adjustment to the eyepiece extension tube, mounted via a compass joint to a tapering brass pillar and three folding inswept legs, with rack and pinion adjusted stabiliser with ivory key, and three eyepieces
