The lancet case with lion mask ring handles to the sides above arched tracery sound frets, on toupie feet, the white painted Roman dial signed THWAITES/London, pierced blued steel hands, with strike/silent lever above XII, the eight day twin gut fusee movement with arched plates joined by five pillars, the rear plate with engraved border and the front stamped 4931, anchor escapement and strike/trip repeat on bell -- 16½ in.
