An ivory brushpot, 19th century
of cylindrical form with a slightly rounded rim, incised on one side with two figures between hills and cliffs with pagodas and birds perched on trees and in flight before towering mountains in the distance, the other side with a carved inscription and a red seal mark -- 3 7/16in. (8.8cm.) high
