Two ivory models of immortals, late 19th Century
the first figure carved with beard and top knot, modelled standing wearing long flowing robes and holding a tall knobbled staff from which hangs a peach spray; the second a smiling bald headed figure of Budai wearing long robes open to the waist revealing a protruding belly, holding mala prayer beads to his waist - 13¼in. (33.7cm) high. (2)
