A GROUP OF FOUR 18TH CENTURY CONTINENTAL SCENT OR SPICE FLASKS,
ALL UNMARKED (Except 1 with later French control mark), SOUTH GERMAN OR SWISS/AUSTRIAN, variously CIRCA 1730-60,
Comprising one silver-gilt barrel form example, unscrewing at top, bottom & centre, engraved alternately with plain & strapwork panels, another silver-gilt example similarly decorated but octagonal with screw-on cap, the foot forming an armorial seal, another silver-gilt example of baluster form, engine-turned with zig-zag bands, unscrewing at centre, the foot forming a crowned monogram seal, also a plain silver baluster-shaped example with ring finial & chain dependent, unscrewing at centre & at top.
