UNMARKED, CIRCA 1750,
Of slightly tapering form, chased with pillars enclosing urns of flowers, the cover (lacking hinge pin) chased with masks & flowers, containing 11 fittings, vis. a pair of dividers, a folding ivory aide-memoire, a snuff or miniature spoon, a pair of scissors, a pencil, a steel knife blade, a steel 2-pronged fork, a scimitar-bladed knife with faceted silver handle, a tapering, faceted case (acting as a handle) containing a steel grater or rasp, an awl, and a steel corkscrew fitting--3¾ in. (9.5 cm.)
