Tibet, 16th/17th century
Seated in dhyanasana on a double-lotus base with hands in dharmachakra mudra, his water bottle supported on a lotus to his right, wearing a long dhoti with a border decorated with chevron and cloud-like motifs and secured at the waist with a sash, multiple necklaces and armlets inlaid with hardstones, the face with serene expression surmounted by a foliate tiara with a billowing sash forming a mandorla, the base sealed
