Third quarter 19th century
The shaped rectangular top with chequered games-board, banded by red tortoiseshell inlaid with the signs of the Zodiac, flanked to each side by a backgammon board, above a similarly decorated frieze concealing drawers, two fitted for chess pieces, on tapering fluted legs
