The sculptor Simone Ghijsbrecht-Vanderborght (Belgian, 1888-1969) and Le Mayeur travelled together in North Africa.

The photographer of some of these pictures is Mr van den Boogaard. (see Paul de Bont, Pollok, Zwolle 1992)
