Slender and of oval section lacquered in gold, silver and black takamaki-e and gold hiramaki-e, kinpun and hirame against a glossy black ground with two quail beneath bush clover, fundame interiors; fitted with a stone bead ojime and a large ivory netsuke of five quail on millet, eyes inlaid in dark horn
