CIRCA 1740, THE RAPPE MARKED FOR DE BLOMPOT
Both painted with an Indian smoking a calumet flanked by a baluster vase, one inscribed RAPPE', the other StDOMINGO, further with a tobacco barrel and merchandise inscribed V.O.C., one cover inscribed in pencil with 5 Ct per 1/2 ons (five cent per pound), (glaze loss and chips to upper rim, the St. Domingo with repaired base)
