CIRCA 1740, STAMPED 'J MARCHAND' AND 'JME', REMOUNTED
Of arc-en-arbalette form, with a liver marble top and egg-and-dart-cast rim above a pair of doors each inset with a lacquer panel decorated with flowering branches and butterflies within a foliate-cast frame, the doors veneered on the interior in fruitwood and amaranth, enclosing three adjustable shelves, the sides inset with similar panels, on a conforming bracket base, stamped to left side beneath marble
