A mid 19th-Century lacquered-brass demonstration model in mahogany case,
the main frame with four wheels in two overlapping parallel pairs each with securing screw, a larger separate wheel pivoting on the two smaller sets, grooved to suspend a thread with an opening mahogany weight canister at each end, with seven brass weights and three brass rods number 1, 1½ and 2, in fitted mahogany case 20.3 x 9 x 16cm. (8 x 3½ x 6¼in.)
