Finely enamelled and gilt on each side with a large cartouche depicting an 'owl' crest within a rococo surround divided by composite floral sprays, the shoulder with a grisaille and white reserve-decorated leaf scroll band with gilt floral cartouches, all above a pierced foliate scroll band around the foot, the domed cover with a gilt knop finial
