Original vellum over boards elaborately gilt, floral corners and leaf motif borders surrounding double-ruled lozenge and double-ruled rectangular panel, all enclosing initial 'M' on upper and lower boards of each volume, initial repeated on spines (which are misdated 'Parma 1790'). EACH VOLUME INSCRIBED TO OTTOLINE MORRELL BY SIEGFRIED SASSOON, WITH HIS MONOGRAM, AND DATED 'JAN. 1. 1919'.
