A Sino-Tibetan gilt bronze model of Buddha, 18th Century
seated in dhyanasana on a rectangular platform, his right hand raised in vitarka mudra, the gesture of argument, wearing a simple sangati over his left shoulder, his face embellished with cold gold with his soft curls and usnisha tinted with blue pigment, before a tri-lobed flaming mandarla - 6¼in. (5.9cm) high.
