Lot Essay

Seago was born in Norfolk, a place with which his name is synonymous. He was largely self taught and at the age of eighteen he joined Bevin Travelling Circus, to which he would associated for many years. After the war, Seago travelled widely to Italy and Morroco and in 1962 he travelled to the Far East for the first time.
