In Classicistic style, inspired by a Greek original of the 5th century B.C., the god standing with his weight on his left leg, the right relaxed and bent at the knee, wearing a high-belted tunic with V-shaped folds at the neckline and a mantle over his left shoulder and around his waist and legs, his left arm at his side with the elbow slightly bent, the fisted hand once holding a now-missing attribute, the right arm also once lowered and now missing, with a full spade-shaped beard and moustache, his hair center parted, with long corkscrew plaits falling on to each shoulder and fanning across his back
