A WHITE JADE PENDANT
QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY

The flattened oval plaque carved in low relief on one side with two egrets swooping down to join their flock wading in a shallow pond, the reverse incised with a poetic inscription describing the scene and the characteristics of egrets, all between ruyi cloud scrolls at each end, the stone of an even white tone
