QING DYNASTY, EARLY 18TH CENTURY
Each of square section with canted corners, enamelled on each facet with a central bat surrounded by stylised foliate scrolls and on each canted side with a floret within a shaped cartouche and stylised lotus blooms, all between a ruyi collar around the mouth and overlapping lappets at the base, the slightly domed cover similarly decorated with bats, foliate motifs and interlocking ruyi around the circular finial
