A jewelled champlevé enamelled gold cigarette case
mark of K.Bok, St. Petersburg, 1896-1908
Rectangular with rounded corners, the covers enamelled in a design of strapwork and foliate arabesques on stippled ground, within interlace chevron border, each side with circular plaque engraved MO and RR, with cabochon saphhire push-piece, marked inside cover and base
3¼ in. (8.3 in.) long
K. Bok was the founder and owner of shops in both St. Petersburg and Moscow and, although his mark is only recorded as Moscow, it would appear he also ran workshops in both cities.
