Cyrillic mark of Pavel Ovchinnikov with the Imperial warrant, Moscow, 1881
Rectangular with rounded corners, the sides and border of the base and hinged cover with champlevé geometric designs, the base with raised enamel inscription, on stippled ground, the cover enamelled en plein with a peasant girl in traditional costume, marked in cover and base
3 3/8 in. (8.6 cm.) long
The Russian inscription reads 'Aleksandr Vladimirovich Ishin 10th June', flanked by the dates 1831-1881.
