The narrow white enamel Arabic chapter ring with blued steel hands, two wheel train with central great wheel with demi-lune crossings, the collet screwed to the barrel with block and tackle suspended brass-cased weight wound via a spring loaded ratchet system, the dead beat escapement with large polished steel pallets, knife-edge suspension, the short-duration movement supported on two white marble columns above a circular veined green marble base, under glass dome; double glass rod pendulum, brass weight
