Cardineaux, Paris, movement signed Thillay. Late 19th/early 20th Century and later
The nine-rod gridiron pendulum incorporating a white enamel Roman dial to each side of the bob (one dial replaced), both signed CARDINAUX/PARIS and with blued steel Breguet hands, sweep seconds (one lacking), within ormolu spiral-beaded and lanceolate leaf cast bezels, the movement with spring barrel and dead beat escapement, one plate signed F.que de Thillay; now suspended on a later purpose-made mirrored mahogany backboard of architectural form
