A CARVED FRUITWOOD PRIMING-FLASK, GERMAN OR ITALIAN
Early 17th Century
With octagonal body carved with a series of nine beaded panels in low relief, one face filled with a coat-of-arms with supporters, coronet and baldachin, another, mantled and crested on the reserve, and with a further five coats-of-arms in small panels about the sides, iron nozzle with spring-loaded cap, and four rings for suspension.
