A LATE 19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY FRENCH SILVER BEAKER,
MARK OF FREDERIC BOUCHERON, PARIS, CIRCA 1900,
Double-skinned, with gilt interior, Cyrillic presentation inscription around rim, decorated in high relief with leaves & berries, a butterfly, a nymph in a forest glade, a small boy crawling on his knees, birds drinking from a pond & a panel with courting couple, signed "F.Peureux", the base inscibed "BOUCHERON PARIS MOSCOU", 6 3/8 in. high (16.5 cm.), 25.25 oz.

Further details
This may well be an exhibition piece as Frédéric Boucheron who established his Paris Maison in 1858 was known to have successfully exhibited at numerous "Expositions Universelles" including Paris, 1889 & 1900. The branch he opened in Moscow was closed down on the eve of the 1917 Revolution.
