Only twice inscribed Biennais, Paris, circa 1805
The obverse and reverse with tapering gold mounts each with Nike figure and laurel wreaths, ruby set clusters between, the openworked gold fan mounts decorated with scrolling foliage, applied with white lace and the paper upper part painted on both sides with classical figures with cupids, in contemporary red leather gold tooled fitted case, inscribed on body
