SECOND QUARTER 18TH CENTURY, REMOUNTED
The rectangular gilt-tooled green leather-lined top with gadrooned edge, above a frieze fitted with a central drawer flanked on each side by two drawers, the handles decorated with foliate rockwork and flowerheads, the angles headed by C-scrolls, acanthus and husks, the sides centered by an Apollo's mask flanked by cornucopiae, on slightly shaped legs terminated in sabots cast with scrolls and foliage, the locks replaced, probably in England
